The impressive John Paul II Garden is a unique memorial to Karol Wojtyla, with delightful floral compositions playing a key role.

Covering an area of 3 hectares, an unparalleled work of horticultural art has been created that moves anyone who can appreciate the scale of this project and the effort put into it. It can only be seen from the look-out tower. After climbing 96 stairs, a huge painting of the Holy Father created from plants appears to the eyes of visitors. Around 20,000 different-coloured flowers, as well as trees and shrubs, were used to achieve this effect. The composition is complemented with gravel, stones and aggregate.

The garden also features an exhibit showcasing Karol Wojtyla's path to the Vatican and touching stories from his life. You can also enjoy replicas of St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City and the Basilica of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wadowice.
